INTERVIEW WITH WIZ KHALIFA

This week on SWED Sessions, I sat down with Wiz Khalifa to break down “Point Breeze”, the newest strain from Khalifa Kush.

Tammy: So, I have some quick questions for you. What is the significance of the name “Point Breeze”?

Wiz: Point Breeze is a neighborhood in Pittsburgh, it’s right next door from where my grandfather and uncle lived in Homewood. He actually did live in Point Breeze at one point.

Tammy: Oh okay, so you based the name off of the street name?

Wiz: Well it’s like an area… There’s Homewood, Point Breeze, Oakland, and East Liberty. They’re all in the same area together.

Tammy: Alright, now I want to ask you some fun questions too. Who’s the most famous person that you’ve smoked with that is NOT Snoop Dogg?

Wiz: I’m going to have to think about that one for a minute. I’ve smoked with a lot of famous people. Who would you say is under Snoop?

Tammy: Obama? Actually I’d say you’re under Snoop, but when I asked him the same question I told him that he couldn’t choose Wiz.

Wiz: Well Snoop got to smoke with Willie Nelson, I never smoked with Willie. I’m going to go with B-Real.

Tammy: That’s a good answer. Which Khalifa Kush strain is your favorite?

Wiz: My favorite is the original KK strain, that’s what I’m smoking every day. It’s like these strains are my kids, and the OG is my firstborn.

Tammy: Okay I’ve got you, the firstborn is the most special. So we know that you’ve made songs that are anthems for football teams, but do you personally play any sports or do anything for leisure?

Wiz: I do a lot of combat sports training, a lot of boxing and muay thai. I used to play basketball when I was a kid, but once I started rapping that went out of the window.

Tammy: Yeah I saw on ESPN that you actually have a really nice shot!

Wiz: Yeah, I’ve got a pretty good jumper and I’m athletic. But these days it’s mainly just combat sports.

Tammy: Okay final question: I see you’ve been into vinyls, can you name your top 3?

Wiz: My top 3 right now, I’d have to start off with this Miles Davis record that I have called “Steamin”. I also love Heatwave’s album “Central Heating”. For the last choice, it’s a tie between Marvin Gaye’s live album and Curtis Mayfield’s live album.

Tammy: Dope! Thank you so much for answering the questions and joining us on SWED Sessions, where we smoke weed every day!

Wiz: No doubt!

MY REVIEW OF KK’S NEWEST STRAIN: POINT BREEZE

As for my Point Breeze review, when I first opened and smelled it I fell in love. Once I actually consumed it, I was even more in love. I must say that out of all of the Khalifa Kush strains, this is by far my favorite!

CATCH UP WITH THE CUTIE: WHAT’S NEW IN MY LIFE

Also in this episode I catch up with my viewers and talk about what is new in my life, in both my personal life and my career.

I also discuss topics such as stepping out of my comfort zone to level up, my benchmarks for growth, my opinion of the current state of the cannabis industry, and much more! I also bring you along with me as I get dressed up and attend a high tea in West Hollywood, where I had a chance to talk with one of the owners.

COME WITH ME TO HIGH TEA

Tammy: I’m here at The Artist Tree Consumption Lounge with Courtney, who is one of the owners and the mind behind this beautiful afternoon. All of the china that you see is actually her collection. Courtney, can you tell me more about that?

Courtney: When I got married, I had this crazy idea that I wanted to have mismatched china for 250 people at my wedding and I started this massive collection. When I got into the cannabis industry and we named our stores “The Artist Tree,” I knew we had to have a high tea at The Artist Tree, which gave me a new reason to use all of this china.

Tammy: This is my second time coming, I love dressing up and I especially love all of the snacks. Can you tell us about the art of infusing tea?

Courtney: We believe that infusing cannabis can be done for fun or even on a daily basis. What we’re trying to do is normalize the idea of regular events and give you an opportunity to consume cannabis in a way that is going to suit you to still be productive in your daily life.

Tammy: Where do you envision this idea will be in 10 years?

Courtney: I would love for high teas to be something you have in your home for your girlfriends, for a bridal shower, or maybe a wedding anniversary party. It can go beyond high teas, we can find different ways to bring in chefs to utilize different cannabis ingredients in order to give people an unforgettable experience.

Tammy: Well, I’m definitely a fan! Thank you for having me and I can’t wait for the next one!
