Regarding Congress’ recent Hemp Ban…
I know many people are feeling shocked… I’m not, personally.
I never drank the orange Kool-Aid. But, I will say I hope that we as an industry can reunite. Because we got divided on this whole presidential issue.
When history has always shown that president “one” to president “now” have all equally been very terrible.
When it comes to this industry, let’s not forget that moving forward, no president will act based on our best interest.
It’s up to us, the people, not to the people in power.
For historical context, this has happened before. Once upon a time, we had about 30 plus states that had legal medical cannabis in the seventies and eighties.
Then, we got a red president who had a red house, a red senate and… whoosh, it all disappeared.
Now, we have a red president with a red house, a red senate and… whoosh, it’s happening again.
This is why reading books is important. It’s not indoctrination. It’s quite literally information.
And lastly, I will just say we’re almost about 50% of the way through Project 2025, and Project 2025 has a vision of no drugs being legal. I even think alcohol would be on that targeted list.
So please understand that our legal industry is also not fully safe, and if you think it is, you’re not paying attention.
