Cannabis Gender & Why It’s Important

Which of your cannabis plants are male and female? And why does it matter?

How does gender come into play when growing cannabis?

The boy plants are great for generating new seeds—but the females are the true stars of the show. 🌟

The female cannabis plants create the flowers/buds/nugs that we smoke.

But the boy plants—they need to be kept separate, or be destroyed altogether, to prevent pollinating your female plants. Why?

Once a female cannabis plant gets pollinated, it starts putting all of its energy into creating viable seeds, rather than putting out more flowers.

And that’s what we need their creative energy for!
